The Charity exists to promote the Bournville Carillon and the memory of its founder George Cadbury who installed the rare instrument of 48 bells as a gift to the village in The 'Friends of Bournville Carillon' operate a Visitor Centre whereby members of the general public can find out more about the carillon and can book a visit to see.
Tours of the Carillon take place on Saturdays at 12 noon and 3pm and are free of charge, but donations are invited. Tours start from the Rest House (the Carillon’s visitor centre) on Bournville village green and booking in advanced is advised.
